From the first notes until the last Verdi’s opera is heartrending. It follows the story of Rigoletto, a damaged jester who first aids the duke in his grim pleasures and then plots to stop him forever. Presented as a proscenium opera in the Foster Family Theater, Opera Modesto’s production features Roy Stevens as Rigoletto.
